Ayesha Takia in Salman khan movie

The makers of a new Salman Khan movie, which is the Hindi, remake of Telugu hit ‘Pokkiri’ has chosen Bollywood’s rising young actress Ayesha Takia as the heroine of the movie.

This surely indicates the rising star value of Ayesha who is considered as one of the most promising young stars in the industry today by critics. Ayesha was offered a lead role with Aamir Khan in the Hindi remake of Tamil hit Ghajini, which she turned down.

Producer Boney Kapoor is remaking the Telugu super hit in Hindi. The role was first offered to Deepika Padukone, who turned it down. After which it went to Jiah Khan, but Jiah’s remarks against Katrina Kaif in an interview made Salman to drop her from the film.

Though few actresses turned down the role, the news is that Ayesha readily accepted the role and she is looking forward to play the character with lot of expectations and she believes that the pair can do it good on the silver screen.
